Insurance ReminderAHP Integrative Health is a self-pay clinic that does not bill insurance for visits. Payment is collected at the time of service. Please visit our "Services" page to learn about associated costs. Patients with insurance are encouraged to bring their insurance cards, as lab work can often be billed to insurance. We will inform you during your appointment whether the recommended labs accept insurance or not. We accept HSA and FSA cards, CareCredit, and other Health Savings Accounts.
Some patients submit their bills for out-of-network reimbursement through insurance companies. We are happy to provide invoices with diagnosis and treatment codes for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Whether or not you are reimbursed is based on the rules of your specific insurance policy. We recommend asking them if that is a service they provide before your first appointment if you plan to submit for out-of-network reimbursement.
Most insurance companies will pay for labs, imaging, and prescriptions that we order. However, some insurance policies will only reimburse for services ordered by a provider that is in-network. If you have insurance, we recommend establishing or continuing care with your in-network provider to maximize options for reimbursement.
Out-of-State PatientsIf you live outside the state of Ohio, you must be seen in the office prior to beginning care. After the initial appointment, you may be seen via telehealth unless your condition requires more frequent in-person assessments. All patients are required to have an in-person visit a minimum of once per year. If you are not local or have complex healthcare needs, you should retain a local primary care provider to assist with urgent needs.
