Primary Care

We are happy to take patients for primary care. Our clinic focuses on patients with complex medical histories. We are able order laboratory tests, prescribe medications, send referrals, and more. Billing at our clinic is based on a $125 / fifteen-minute rate for appointments.

Please know that new patients will be required to sign-up for one of our Foundations of Health programs. Please Click Here to learn more about these programs. These packages are designed to set our patients up for a successfull treatment while helping them to know all the expectations involved.

Reminder about Insurance AHP Integrative Health cannot accept insurance directly. Some lab testing can be done through insurance, but all other services are due at time of appointment. Some patients take copies of their Superbill receipts to insurance for out-of-network reimbursement. Reimbursement is the policy of your insurance company and not AHP Integrative Health. We recommend contacting your insurance before being seen to see if they will offer that service to you. We do accept HSAs, Care Credit, and Health Savings Plans. Some patients also use church fund organizations. We can submit medical bills to them as well for payment.

Out-of-State Patients Patients who are outside the state of Ohio are required to have an in-person appointment when becoming a new patient. We are unable to place lab orders or medication orders for out-of-state patients until they have had an in-person appointment. After the initial appointment, they may do telehealth for follow-up but will be required to come into the clinic one time each year for an in-person appointment.

Nurse Intake Appointments: New Patients will be asked to schedule a phone call appointment with the nurses here at AHP Integrative Health. During this call, a nurse will document your medical history and symptoms. Afterwards, your nurse will meet with your practitioner to discuss your case. Based on your nurse intake, the practitioner may recommend laboratory work for you to do before coming into your first in-office appointment.

Once the laboratory work is back, you will have your first in-office appointment with the provider. In that appointment, you will review any lab results and create your treatment plan together.

This rate applies for visits addressing multiple concerns that can be adequately addressed in 30 – 60 minutes. Billing is based on 15 minute increments.

New Patients + Nurse Intake

This charge applies for new patients who are doing a nurse intake before their initial appointment.

The nurse intake will last 25 – 45 minutes. $200 is due after the nurse intake.

The initial appointment is 30 – 60 minutes. The price is based on time.

Charges are based on the complexity of a patient’s conditions and the amount of time that the providers will spend aiding them.

When you call to schedule an appointment, we will help you determine what the approximate cost will be.

Any labs or products will be an addition to this base cost. If you have insurance, some lab work can be billed to insurance instead.
